My name is Diego Bianco, a Brazilian-born barber with over 14 years of experience in the craft, 5 of which have been here in the UK. I am proud to be the husband of Monica Pinheiro Bianco and the father of two wonderful boys, Luís Felipe and João Pedro. My journey in life and barbering began at a very young age, when I started working at just 12 years old to help support my family in Brazil. While life wasn’t always easy, these early experiences taught me the value of hard work and shaped the passion and dedication that drive me in both my personal and professional life.
Barbering is more than just a profession for me—it’s a calling. I strive for excellence in everything I do, paying attention to every detail and focusing on creating the perfect experience for my clients. For me, a barbershop is not just a place for haircuts and shaves; it’s a space for renewal, relaxation, and revitalisation. Every client who steps into my shop receives a warm, personal experience, where they can unwind, have a great conversation, and leave feeling refreshed both in appearance and energy.
After moving to the UK in August 2019 with my Italian citizenship, I faced the challenge of learning a new language and adapting to a different culture. However, the kindness and support of the people here made me fall in love with this country, which has now become my home. The UK has given me so much, including the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.
After working at “The Barbershop Guildford” for five years, I decided to take the next step in my journey and open my own barbershop—Bianco Barbershop Guildford.
